The zero clearance process, allow me to close the clearance between the compressor wheel and compressor housing. This increases the efficiency of the compressor stage. Efficiency is the key to generating less heat and producing more air per shaft revolution. This directly translates to less lag, because we are getting on boost sooner. If boost is generated sooner, torque is created sooner in the RPM curve.

You can see this video, Z/C is clearly at work..

And for your car, we would build your K24's with my new HyFlow turbine wheels. Have to get those turbine wheel spinning faster..

Kevin, with your stage 2 'A' Turbo package are you also using the HyFlow wheel on the turbine side?

This car with Matt at the wheel is insane....ask me how I know! When I spoke with Matt last the issue was traction (and that's with sticky tires).....this thing is on boost immediately.

Thanks Kevin. OK what is used on the Turbine side? I understand the 997 GT2 wheel is used on the compressor side.

Stage 2 "B" has the K16 modified turbine wheel

Stage 2 "C" has the k24 HyFlow turbine wheel

Stage 2 "A" has what ever cores that you (supplied to me) want me to build from.. If you have K24's I'll build them up, the HyFlow wheel on the "A" level is a option..

Thanks Kevin.
I could image vast differences in Spooling speeds between the two options.

Which will spool faster?
Which will deliver > HP & TQ.

Option 1. K16 modified Hot side, 997 GT2 Compressor side
Option 2. K24 HyFlow Hot side, 997 GT2 Compressor side

The K16 based unit will spool faster. Period>less lag..

The torque and power will be capped.. It isn't until you start adding the fueling kit that we will deliver more power. Side by side the K24 will deliver more power with a hit on the spool up. You have to sacrifice something.. Do you want instant spooling and instant torque, or a 350 RPM and greater delay in power..

It's the great debate. People that have K24's can step up and I can help them reduce 150 to 200 RPM's of lag with the new turbine wheel.

If you want K24's I suggest going out and driving a car that has them..

At the end of the day, I don't care which frame size of turbochargers we use to build the kit..

Mark, which kit? We have a fellow UMW customer breaking in a set of Stage 2 "A" right now. He might chime in..
