I have had the recent task of changing injectors in my brothers '02 996TT. He is upgrading from a Stage 2 package to a Stage 2 "C" >> K24 based units.
The challenge was to do it with normal DIY tools that you folks would have. It was tougher for me, not having my tools. I will list and post pictures of what is involved. I think that if I can show you guys what the pitfalls will be, the risk and potential screw-up will be minimized. Along with my pictures and descriptions I will be posting pages out of my factory "paper" service manual.

This following pictures show the jack and jack stand orientations. For the garage install. I recommend two good floor jacks and two good jack stands. A trip to the local Home Depot or Lowes should net you 8 to 10 solid concrete blocks.
You can see how I jacked the front tires up and placed them on concrete blocks to keep the "rake" at a minimal. ![]() I would suggest more blocks under the jacks, due to the fact that as you raise the car the jack will move. The reason why we need to get the jacks on blocks is that we are using a lifting table under the engine. It is allows for a very sturdy platform to hold the engine and tranny. ![]() ![]()
